Welcome to ARHS and AFJROTC! We look forward to an exciting new year and are kicking off the 2023-2024 school year with our annual new cadet orientation. This is geared for new 1st year cadets or any cadets transferring to Ashley Ridge from another high school JROTC program. Attendance is not required, but this is a great event to meet other ARHS students, get fitted for your uniform before school starts, learn about our program and learn how we operate. The orientation is led by our Command Staff and includes fun activities.
Orientation is daily, Tues-Thurs, August 8th-10th from 0800-1200 noon (half days only). Participants will be invited to join Command Staff on Saturday Aug 12th from 0800 to noon for our first Community Service event of the year -- Adopt a Highway, right here at ARHS.
To participate or if you have questions, please shoot an email to jefwilkinson@dorchester2.k12.sc.us or simply show up. Please drop-off and pick-up cadets at the bus loop, we are located on the backside (Northeast corner) of school in room F-120
If a cadet can't attend all three days, that's okay, please attend what you can.
