Unit Weekly News for 14-20 Nov

Snap Raise (ends 11/22) -- $11,881 raised, so far!! Thank you all so very much for your support to our fundraising campaign! We’ve on the verge of exceeding last year’s Snap Raise total. There’s one week left – Snap Raise concludes on 11/22. These funds go directly to our teams, competitions, field trips, unit events, service projects, equipment, transportation and every aspect of our program. This year, 50% of money raised by each cadet goes back to fund that individual cadet’s Spring CIA trip cost.

Spring CIA Trip: only 8 seats remaining. (Curriculum In Action trip to the National Museum of the Air Force and King’s Island, Wright Patterson AFB, OH): 27-30 April. Total cost per cadet = $555. 2d payment of $100 is due Nov 18th, payable in cash or check (payable to ARHS AFJROTC Booster Club). Snap Raise funds will be applied in December and refunds will be provided for any cadet whose Snap Raise contribution + monthly trip payments exceed $555. This will be a great trip your cadets won’t want to miss! We are awaiting approval from the Air Force/National Guard Bureau to our request for a C-130 Super Hercules Familiarization ride for trip participants.

Your cadets are doing a great job. We were excited to accomplish our first field trip in several years – last week 3d year cadets and Juniors visited the US Coast Guard Cutter Stone at CG Base Charleston. More local trips are being planned – stay tuned.

Please reach out to myself, MSgt Powell or MSgt Blake anytime you have a question, feedback or concerns.
