A HUGE THANK YOU!! Our unit raised a whopping total of $24,200 this year thanks to your donations, social and email sharing, and support to our campaign. $7,000 of this money supports cadets participating in our annual CIA (field) trip to Kennedy Space Center in the spring. 100% of the rest funds all of our cadets participating in competitions, community service events, supplies & training equipment, transportation, celebrations, and scholarships for the 2024-2025 school year. We TRULY couldn’t run this program without your support – THANK YOU!
SnapRaise delivers the customized sales purchases (hoodies, hats, etc) to school typically in 4-6 weeks. I will let you know once it arrives and we will hand it out to the recipient cadets unless you email me and tell me to hold it for you.
Congratulations to our teams participating in the Fort Dorchester HS Patriot Challenge multi-meet competition. Our Drone team won 2d place in Drone overall, Drill Team earned 3d in Individual Basic with Arms, Raiders won 3d place in the Litter Carry and Cadet Postell earned most pull ups in the female cadet category. Our cadets competed with true excellence and looked great out on the field! Congratulations to them for all their hard work.
Two KEY reminders – No school on TUESDAY for election day. Unit & Individual pictures on WEDNESDAY at 0930 in the full Service Dress Uniform. (Please help cadets remember to prep their uniforms the night before and report to JROTC for 1st period in Uniform ready for pictures). All cadets will have individual pictures taken for our JROTC yearbook. Pictures are available for purchase: The package is 1 - 8x10, 2 - 5x7’s, 8 – wallets = $35 and/or you can purchase a 2’x3’ banner for $35. Access to the website will be sent out.
