AFJROTC Unit Evaluation (UE)

  • A big thank you to all the cadets who helped prepare and ran the UE on Friday.

  • Major Farese, Commander of Wando AFJROTC was very impressed with the professionalism and the presentations of the cadets.

  • As with any UE, there are areas that the unit can improve on and prepare for the next UE in 2022-23 school year.

Unit Book Drive

  • 21 March-8 April. Donate new or gently used books of any genre for community service hours. Drop off in Major Clark’s room.

CyberPatriot XIV Nationals, 17-21 March

  • A portion of the Cyber Team will be competing in the Cyber Patriot XIV Nationals in Rockville, MD.

Palmetto Computer Defense Competition (PCDC) , 9 April

  • The entire Cyber Team will be competing in the PCDC at CSU.

CSU Senior AFROTC Drill Competition, 19 March

  • The Drill Team will be competing at the CSU Senior AFROTC Drill Competition on Saturday.

LIFT Academy, 20 March

  • Cadets will be able to participate in a ground school orientation session, flight simulator, and one hour flight orientation ride with Craft Aviation at the Summerville Airport.

Cadet Leadership Course (CLC)

  • CLC will be held at The Citadel in two sessions:

  • 5-11 June

  • 12-18 June

  • Cadets interested in attending CLC this summer should attend the CLC PT Preparation Sessions this week before and after school.

  • More information will be in the next unit email about CLC.
