UPCOMING EVENTS

Hygiene Drive

  • Hygiene Drive has been extended to Friday, 25 February.

  • Cadets will receive service points for items brought in.

CEJC Banquet

  • The Cyber & Rocketry teams will be recognized at the Civil Engineering Joint Council on 22 February, Tuesday at Mark Clark Hall at The Citadel. Color Guard will present the colors.

  • Cadets will be excused from class at 3:30 PM and return NLT 9:30 PM that night.

  • Cadets will eat dinner there and wear their service dress.

Army Old Guard Silent Drill Team

  • Army Old Guard Silent Drill Team will be performing at The Citadel on Wednesday, 23 February. Cadets given permission slips to attend the event are to return them Tuesday to their respective instructors.

  • Cadets will wear their alternate uniform and be excused from class at 1:30 PM and return at 7 PM that night.

Military Ball

  • 6:30-10:30 PM, 26 February, Saturday, Military Ball at Red Bank Club. Address is 2316 Red Bank Road, Building 942. Goose Creek, SC.

  • All cadets will be dropped off on time and picked up on time.

  • Cadets driving will park on the side of the club and not in front.

  • Watch speed limits on Red Bank Road. Strictly Enforced.

  • Masks will be worn. Mask and Sanitizer will be available.

StellarXplorer Semi-Finals

  • Rocketry Team will be competing in StellarXplorer Semi-finals to determine the top 10 teams out of the 30% of teams selected to compete in the semifinals.

  • Teams selected will be traveling to Houston, Texas in April to compete.

Fierce Fox Meet 2022

  • Fierce Fox Meet (FFM) 2022 will be held on Saturday, 5 March.

  • All cadets who signed up for FFM 2022 have a mandatory meeting this Thursday, 24 February in the auditorium at 4:05 PM.

  • A big Thank You to all the parents who have volunteered to work the meet.

AFJROTC Unit Inspection (UE)

  • The UE will be held on 10 March, Thursday. A representative from HQ AFJROTC will be conducting the inspection.

  • All cadets are expected to meet grooming standards for the inspection as they are expected to each week.

  • All cadets will form up in a mass formation 1st period to be inspected by the UE inspector.

  • Uniform will be service dress with tie/tie tab. Please ensure unforms are clean for the uniform inspection being held that day.

  • Uniform inspections will be counted as a test grade that day.

  • Various cadets thru out the day will present their areas of responsibility, such as team supply, logistics, information management, etc.

  • The command staff will present their unit mission briefing.

Cadet Officer Leadership Course (CLC)

  • CLC will be held two separate weeks this summer.

    • 1st session 5-11 June

    • 2nd Session 12-18 June

  • Prices this year for CLC have gone up. Estimated cost per cadet will be $200 per week. Actual price is $350. AFJROTC Booster Club makes up difference.

  • A letter will be sent out in the next few weeks giving more details concerning CLC.
