We are very grateful for your support to our cadets with sharing their individualized SnapRaise QR codes and for your generous donations! 100% of the funds raised go directly to supporting our cadets. 50% of each individual cadet’s funds raised go toward their NYC CIA Field Trip in April.

Kitty Hawk Induction Ceremony – Thursday 9/18 @6pm (ARHS Auditorium) – We are proud of our 25 cadets being inducted into the national AFJROTC Kitty Hawk Honor Society. This accomplishment recognizes our cadets for their strong academic dedication, leadership in community service, and positive character. Parents and families are welcome to attend, picture taking is encouraged. The ceremony typically lasts approximately 30 minutes.
Parent Volunteers
Interested in volunteering to be a chaperone, cook/serve food for JROTC, sell concessions at events, helping with team competitions? Then please fill out the DD2 Volunteer Application, mark “chaperone”, “special activity” ,“concessions” or “other” on the form located at https://www.ddtwo.org/community/engagement-opportunities/volunteers
(DD2 requires all adults who work with students to complete this application in advance of volunteering).
Chaperone opportunity for 9/24 – 0830 until 1400 – we are seeking TWO parents to chaperone our field trip to Boeing for the DreamLearner program. If interested, please accomplish the DD2 Volunteer application and contact myself or MSgt Blake at jefwilkinson@dorchester2.k12.sc.us or jasblake@dorchester2.k12.sc.us
Parents are also welcome to participate in our 10/11 Community Service Project helping St George’s Episcopal Church from 0915 until 1300 (1pm). We help unload the pumpkin delivery truck by forming a line of people passing pumpkins from the truck to the church property. Cadets report directly to the church to help out. Parents are welcome to participate as well. Our JROTC leadership are Cadet Miguel Stephenson and adult advisor Ms Mary Morris (AFJROTC Booster Officer)
If interested, please email to let me know you plan to attend so I can let the church and our JROTC leadership know. The event is a lot of fun and the more helpers the merrier. Thank you.
