Unit Weekly News for 25-31 Aug 2025

Good afternoon Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for everyone who pivoted on short notice for yesterday’s football game postponement.  We had several students miss the bus and appreciate efforts to pick them up on short notice.  The game is planned for Monday, however we will not pivot our parking detail, concessions, and ticket checkers, the next game we will work is Friday, 8/29^th and I believe all work positions have been filled and permission forms returned.

Cadet meeting Wednesday (8/27):  This week, the Wing Commander will host Commander’s Call for all cadets Wednesday during 4^th period in the auditorium.  This is the first and only time the commander has to address the entire cadet corps to introduce our cadet leaders, opportunities available this year and to review requirements of the program.  Cadets received permission slips which need parent (and 4^th period teacher) approval for cadets to attend the 4^th period event. 

SnapRaise:  Please continue to help cadets identify email address for family, friends, neighbors and anyone who knows our cadets for our annual SnapRaise fundraiser.  Cadets need to load the emails into their SnapRaise accounts this week.   50% of funds raised by each cadet will go toward their interstate field trip (CIA trip) if they participate on the trip.  The funds are essential to everything our cadets accomplish across the entire school year.

Family Night (9/3):   Reminder, you are invited to join us on Wednesday Sep 3 at 6pm in the ARHS Auditorium for family night.  Our goal is to inform parents about our plans for the year, opportunities, extracurricular teams, scholarships and requirements.  Plus, sign ups will open for the spring interstate field trip – deposits are $100 to secure a slot.
