Parents,
Congratulations to our Cadet Teams for their 1st place finish at the Wando Warrior Meet yesterday! Our teams won 1st place for Overall – the collection of points earned across all the teams stood ahead of all other JROTC units who compete, some from Columbia, SC, Georgia and Florida.
Our Drill & Ceremonies team placed 3d Overall in Drill, with a 1st place finish in Armed Duo Exhibition, 2d place in Armed Flight Regulation, Unarmed Flight Regulation and Cadet Nesbitt’s 2d place finish in the Armed Knock Out, plus 3d place finished in Armed Squad Regulation and Armed Individual Exhibition.
Our Raiders placed 2d in Pull-ups plus Tire and Log Carry, 3d in the Humvee Pull, and 3d in the 5km Road March that didn’t reflect their likely 1st place finish.
Drone placed 1st in the Slalom and 3d in the Obstacle Course.
Air Rifle placed 3d overall with Cadet King earning Top Shot in the Kneeling position.
Everyone who participated contributed points toward our Overall #1 Ranking – Congratulations to all for their achievement.
