LEADERSHIP STARTS HERE

Welcome to the Ashley Ridge High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) program. Our goal is to provide your cadet with life skills in order to thrive and excel in school, and to become outstanding, responsible citizens and leaders in life after graduation. We work to build teamwork, self-discipline, dedication to community and nation, and pride in a job well done.

Thirteen service members passed away on August 26th as a result of a suicide bomber at Kabul Airport in Afghanistan. In order to honor their sacrifice, the Ashley Ridge AFJROTC set up a memoriam display at school on Thursday and Friday. Thank you for your sacrifices, we will never forget!

Thank you to C/Colonel Olivia Barkasy and C/Lieutenant Colonel London Bernal who with the support of all the cadets in the unit set up the display

Many of you may have heard about Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) but may not really know what it’s all about. Is it a military prep program? Do you have to join the military if you participate in JROTC? What are the advantages of the program? What branches of the military have JROTC programs? Is there a program at my high school? These are all great questions! Lucky for you, we have all of the answers. For more information, please go to High School JROTC.
