Greetings Parents,
Thank you all again for attending this week’s Family Night. It was a pleasure to meet so many of you and we are excited for the strong turn out for the Washington DC Curriculum In Action (CIA) Field Trip sign-ups. Only a few slots remain!
Also – thank you for your tremendous support to our cadets through assisting with emails, sharing on social media and through text messages for our annual Snap!Raise fundraising campaign. To date, we have twice as many emails loaded as our unit did last year at this time.
The response to SnapRaise has been very strong with $13,718 raised in the first week . These funds make our program possible while also funding individual cadets from their individual snapraise accounts for the Washington DC trip. Two cadets have already fully funded their trip from donations received through their individual Snapraise accounts. If your son or daughter hasn’t loaded their emails, there is still time to participate and join in the success of this program. Every donation is sincerely appreciated and is put to use for our cadets.
Congratulations to our Drill and Ceremony team for opening our competition season at the Hanahan Drill Meet against eight other local area schools. The team is in a good position for the start of the season with two 3d place and two 4th place event finishes.
Also, thank you to the 26 cadets who supported today’s Kiawah Island Triathlon community service event. The showtime was very early and the cadets were hard working and positive the entire day – motivating racers at all levels. The success of the race was largely influenced by our cadets’ contributions. Thank you for getting them here (and picking them up 😊)
