Unit Weekly News for 16-22 October

Greetings,

Thank you and my apologies to the many parents who were affected by the multiple time changes for yesterday's Pumpkin Patch truck unload in support of St George's Episcopal church. They were blindsided as well with the time changes—fortunately, a lot of people showed back up to help from Ashley Ridge, Fort Dorchester, Stall, the church itself and others. Cadets will be credited for whatever hours they were able to be there.

Congratulations to our Raider Team for their 2d place finish in the Litter Carry and 3d place finish in the Team Physical Fitness Challenge. The event took place at Stratford High School yesterday.

Please note the change to the Uniform Day listed below. The day of the week is being shifted this week because there are no classes this coming Friday. Cadets were misinformed of this change by the Command Staff late last week may be unaware of this change. If B-day cadets are unable or forget to wear their uniform on Monday, they can make it up on Tuesday (or coordinate with their flight crew or instructor for another make up date).

Also, thank you to you all for your support to our cadets and our SnapRaise fundraiser campaign. The cadets have exceeded their stretch goal of $25K. Much of the fundraising impact has come through sharing the QR code through your social media connections. Currently the campaign is at $26,326 with 10 days until it closes out. Thank you for your support.
