The program is approaching full speed with most teams actively practicing for upcoming meets, the only teams which haven’t started yet are Flight Academy, Drones & Rocketry. If any questions about teams, please contact any instructor.
High Emphasis – the deadline of Friday, 22 September to sign up and pay for family night meals (if desired) is coming up. To help parents accomplish dinner while attending Family Night on Wednesday, 27 Sep at 6pm, the cadets are offering meals (2 slices of pizza and a drink) for $6 each. Snap!Raise – Our cadets need your help with our annual fundraiser. Cadets need to create their SnapRaise account (info provided by the flights) and to load 20 family and friends emails to solicit donations for our program. This fundraiser is the major provider for funds which enable maintenance of uniforms & accouterments, bus transportation and entry fees for team competitions, local field trips, and equipment and supplies for our classrooms and diverse program. PLEASE help your cadets input valid email addresses into Snap!Raise. Spreading the fundraiser across all 165 cadets makes success possible – every cadet’s participation is essential to achieving our goal. – ALSO, 50% of money raised by individual cadets WILL go toward the cost of their Field Trip to Washington DC up to a fully funded trip.
